The image flickers every time I press a key (it's the key down event, apparently). It can get pretty annoying...

You can see a little video of it here (YouTube).

Chrome 13, Mac OS X 10.7.
This also happens in Safari (5.1), but it seems to only flicker when I press the space bar.

Update This is still happening. It seems that, while not everyone sees this, I'm not the only one.
I can provide more info if that will help with debugging.

I get this all the time. Assumed it was down to the AJAX stuff going on. –  ChrisF Aug 1 '11 at 20:02

@ChrisF: Are you on Mac as well? I can't reproduce in Chrome on Windows. –  balpha Aug 1 '11 at 20:23

@balpha - Chrome on Windows 7 (also got it on XP). –  ChrisF Aug 1 '11 at 20:24

I've seen it before, but never traced it down. –  Lance Roberts Aug 1 '11 at 20:27

In your (nice!) video, I do not see the "loading..." spinner rotate next to the title in Chrome's tab. That makes me wonder: do you see any network activity for the image in Chrome's developer tools, in its network panel? And any clues in about:cache? (Maybe post the results in the other question, which might be more active today.) –  Arjan Aug 23 '11 at 20:40
