Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I wrote some queries, saved them, and marked them as favorites. But when I choose "favorites" I see all queries. I can find mine, and when I do I see them marked as favorite, but I cannot find them when choosing favorite. What am I missing?

I assume you're choosing the favorite tab on the home page, which shows queries anyone has favorited:

You need to choose the favorite tab on your profile to show only your favorites:

Thank you. I now see that the "Favorites" on the main page is to show questions that are ranked by how many of all the users set them as favorites. Makes sense now! – Daniel Williams Aug 17 '11 at 15:06
