Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Whenever I go to the chat 'homepage' (http://chat.stackexchange.com/), it always is on the EE.SE site. Why is this? Can I change it to a different site?

You must be on the starred tab – random Aug 24 '11 at 21:56

When I look at http://chat.stackexchange.com/, I see this page:

It seems the page remembers which tab I select, because if I select the "favorite" tab, go to another site, and then return to http://chat.stackexchange.com/, this is what I see.

Guess that works to get away from the site-only rooms, but even when I change it and return to the page, it goes back to what it was before – Nick T Aug 24 '11 at 22:33
