Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

background: Careers Profile: some usability observations

  • Profile Edit view -> Stack Exchange -> Top answers -> adding issues
    adding answers requires much scrolling
    1) scroll to section bottom click add
    2) scroll back to top for edit pane
    3) scroll back to bottom to review added answer
Side note. In comparison, adding articles and books feels OK (uses separate page)
Would it make sense to move edit pane from top to bottom of the section?

Jason, I have to chuckle that this just got caught by the low-quality filter. Perhaps a filter on the filter for dev accounts? – M. Tibbits Aug 25 '11 at 17:31
Nah. I'm all about low quality and I want everyone to know it! – Jason Punyon Aug 25 '11 at 17:41
