Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

How come there are no Markdown references when answering a question? When asking a new question there is a short Markdown reference with a link, when answering a question there is nothing. If I need to reference Markdown I have to scramble around to get it. This is something I have noticed on all sites.

The editor has a little question mark button which will open the Markdown reference.
