Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The hints behind the "Reading" and "Writing" list items link to #reading and #writing on my profile edit page. After the redirect, the page scrolls correctly, but a moment later my answers load which then push the section I'm supposed to be linked to off the page.

It only took nearly three years, but this has now been fixed. After your answers load, the window is now scrolled to the correct position, so you're where you expected to be.
