Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Is the sorting of questions in the FAQ tab of a tag working correctly?

If you look at ruby, the first two questions only have one linked question each (this and this), and the third question doesn't have any linked questions.

By contrast, What does ||= mean in Ruby? , which has nine linked questions and is a textbook example of a FAQ, appears on page 4.

Update: It's now on the first page (on 50 questions per page), but is still ranking fairly low.

I can't reproduce this. Which sorting type have you selected? – genesis Oct 10 '11 at 22:54
@genesis-φ: Go to and click on the "faq" tab. – Andrew Grimm Oct 10 '11 at 22:55
