Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

How can I have my own Stack Exchange site?

I run an open-source project, http://silverstripe.org. I really like the format of the Stack Exchange family of sites and I was keen to get something like this going for community support, rather than our discussion forum.

The "1.0" version of Stack Exchange, where you can pay a monthly fee to get your own Stack Exchange site, would have been perfect for this, but that's no longer an option?

Can anyone suggest other ways in which we could have a system like a Stack Exchange site specifically focused on our project?
