Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

should remain the parent tag (1986 posts).

should be a synonym merged into it (290 posts).

Additional justification - The official title of the application in question is "Adobe Flash Builder" (note the space) – cbroughton Nov 13 '11 at 1:21
This synonym request should be done! – CharlesB May 18 '12 at 11:57

Yes, please fix.

For example, when I enter I get an error telling me I should use . This should be at least the same with those two in my eyes.

Why are you bumping this with a completely different tag and a different issue? – BoltClock's a Unicorn Jan 4 '13 at 16:19
@BoltClock'saUnicorn: That's just an example I experienced which I thing should work analogue for the tags in question here. Was that not clear? – hakre Jan 4 '13 at 16:21

They should obviously be merged. However, if you look at the tag wiki excerpts something else springs up:

FlashBuilder is the Flex 4.0 replacement IDE for Adobe's FlexBuilder

Adobe's official IDE for the Flex SDK.

This implies that should also be included, the excerpt reads:

FlashBuilder 4 stands for the version 4 of Adobe Flash Builder - an IDE based on Eclipse used for building Flex/Flash applications.
