What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 131 Stack Exchange communities.

Do these tags mean essentially the same thing?

If so, can we pick one and merge the rest into it?

As far as I remember, questions about careers/jobs are Off-Topic on SO. –  Time Traveling Bobby Nov 23 '11 at 16:01

@Bobby: I agree... related: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/51340/… and meta.stackexchange.com/questions/92112/… Doesn't mean we shouldn't keep the tags tidy though-- there are still hundreds of these questions. –  Jason Plank Nov 23 '11 at 16:03

Also related to whether these tags are OT: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/98683/… –  Jason Plank Nov 23 '11 at 16:11
