Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I included a link in a Stack Overflow question and wanted to edit it. Awhile ago, someone showed me how to make it more like clickable text instead of just a bare URL, but now I can't remember how. I went to the FAQ to find a quick Stack Overflow editing cheat sheet (I'm guessing such a cheat sheet exists), but it's not there. Is there some reason the Stack Overflow FAQ doesn't point to it?

There's the question mark in the upper right hand corner of every textarea (i.e. whenever you post or edit a post). Click it, then click advanced help.
