Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Someone received a Stack Overflow 3rd anniversary unicorn shirt.

SO Unicorn Shirt

How can I order one, too? I didn't see it in the shop.

Ok, now I know what I want for christmas! – Shawn Chin Dec 5 '11 at 22:11
Ah, so they are finally shipping. Hope mine gets here before Christmas! – David Heffernan Dec 5 '11 at 22:46
All we know now is that you get a free t-shirt if your reputation is 86,885 or higher. – Rick Sladkey Dec 6 '11 at 4:41

If I'm not mistaken, this was only offered to "top all-time Stack Overflow users" via a direct email as a thanks for contributions they had made. I don't think it was sold in the store.

When rep is no longer appealing, bribe 'em with a unicorn t-shirt eh? – Shawn Chin Dec 5 '11 at 22:20
There are other "special user" bribes. I got my Seasoned Advice swag box this morning. (Not that I'm a very special user on that site, but I squeaked in under wire.) Most of the contents also do not appear in the shop. Maybe later you'll be able to buy the apron, but I'm the first kid on my block to get one. – dmckee Dec 5 '11 at 22:25
This post is pretty uncool then. "Hey guys, what do you think of this shirt design? It's awesome? Perfect, because you can't have one" – Michael Mrozek Dec 6 '11 at 0:14
@MichaelMrozek Yeah, I was rather looking forward to this shirt. Ah well. – Adam Lear Dec 6 '11 at 2:16

You had to be cool to get one.

There is no way those two wavy lines say "Joel Spolsky." – Pops Dec 6 '11 at 16:03
