Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Just before 11PM EST I saw today reputation count as 135, but around 11:40EST I am seeing my today reputation count as 2. Is this because of any timezone related to server?

Are you sure you are not confusing the times? Looking at your reputation page, you earned 132 reputation yesterday, and 2 today (though you earned more around the time you posted here).

Stack Exchange runs on UTC time. The UTC day switches over at 7pm EST.

What does this answer have to do with the question? – soandos Jan 4 '12 at 4:48
@soandos I had misread it as an AM/PM issue at first, you're right. I did a bit more looking and added a bit more detail - day switchover still seems right to me. – Rebecca Chernoff Jan 4 '12 at 4:57
@Rebecca: Now it make sense. Thanks. – Nambari Jan 4 '12 at 15:29
