Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I was looking at questions with the tag and then realized a separate tag existed. I always see this product called LabWindows/CVI as one entity, as shown in its description from NI.

To me it would make the most sense to replace and with a single tag.

Is labwindows OK as the master tag? labwindows-cvi would only be needed if there are different flavors of labwindows, as in labwindows-foo and labwindows-bar – Robert Harvey Jan 14 '12 at 21:20
yes, i agree with that justification. – gary Jan 14 '12 at 23:30
