Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Since we have direct links to comments now, IMHO it would only be fair for comment links in the chat to be treated on the same level as question and answer links.

(This question feels kinda empty, and I don't even have a pony picture handy to pad it...)

@MarcGravell - it appears to be working now. – ChrisF Mar 30 '12 at 20:41
ah, might be working for answers... fixing for questions – Marc Gravell Mar 30 '12 at 20:42
Sweet! <forthechars /> – Ghost User Mar 30 '12 at 20:42
Dammit, what did I get wrong! Goes back to the IDE... – Marc Gravell Mar 30 '12 at 20:43
@MarcGravell They both seem fine, although the format is kind of strange (I would think putting the comment's score and "C: Post Title" for the title would be more consistent) – Michael Mrozek Mar 30 '12 at 20:44
@MarcGravell - it just worked for me on both questions and answers. – ChrisF Mar 30 '12 at 20:45
@ChrisF where? I'm in the chat.meta.SO sandbox room, and nada... – Marc Gravell Mar 30 '12 at 20:51

FYI, it works for me (question and answer comments): – cdeszaq Mar 30 '12 at 21:03
Awesome, thanks. :) – Xeo Mar 30 '12 at 21:30
The onebox of the comment displays the questions / answers votes instead of the comment's vote itself. I believe this is a bug.. – jokerdino Mar 31 '12 at 2:00
@jokerdino actually it was intentional, to use a consistent format and not be confusing what the number was, since it is adjacent to the post title. We could additionally add the comment score, maybe? – Marc Gravell Mar 31 '12 at 7:12
I think adding both the posts and comments' score would be information overload. I can live with how it currently is. – jokerdino Mar 31 '12 at 7:20
The chat formatting faq still says that just "Stack Exchange questions, answers, and users" can be oneboxed – AakashM Jun 21 '12 at 16:17
@AakashM true - in addition to comments, we also don't call out "sites". Will review. – Marc Gravell Jun 21 '12 at 16:21
