Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

What should be the right structure for Android API-related tags?

I found tags like and which is an alias of API4. Also I found the tag . Shouldn't be there some more uniform tags? Like Android-API-1.0, Android-API-1.1, etc. and also to add some aliases to find them faster?

See also this list of Android names, platform names and API versions.

I would like to suggest to enfoce the usage of tags with the prefix "android-". I already created some tags and changed many tags.

Note that cupcake seems to be used mostly for a forum plugin for CakePHP. Need some disambiguation there. – Al E. Feb 16 '12 at 14:09
