Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

When I post a link to the Community♦ profile in chat, it doesn't onebox.

I'd wager that this has something to do with the negative user ID, but the Stack Exchange API seems to handle it just fine when I try it here.

If I had to guess, I would say the answer is something like, "Blame balpha," but I'm not a betting gal. – Aarthi Feb 21 '12 at 4:51
It is a good observation, but I'm not sure this is a key case for fixing - it isn't really a user, after all – Marc Gravell Feb 23 '12 at 13:03
@MarcGravell Nonsense, this is srs bsns! It should onebox an image of Community in an epic battle with Feeds instead. – Tim Stone Feb 23 '12 at 13:08
There, there, Community, @Marc didn't really mean that. He's just had a rough day. Come on, let's go visit balpha, I'm sure he'll have some abandoned accounts for you to take over! – Pops Feb 23 '12 at 15:50
