Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs

More options when flagging for migration

With all these new Stack Exchange sites, the close options for “belong on blah blah” are too limited. For example, this question regarding anaphor resolution belongs on linguistics.stackexchange.com, but there is no way to vote to migrate it thither.

I'm not sure that that question actually should be migrated elsewhere. It's not a particularly high quality question, and remember that the golden rule of migration is that you don't migrate crap. This is one of the reasons why such obscure migration paths aren't unlocked, because the typical Stack Overflow user doesn't know what a good Linguistics question looks like. Even the mods are encouraged to communicate with the mods on the target site for approval. – Cody Gray Feb 29 '12 at 17:59

@CodyGray Agreed that it’s a poor question. – tchrist Feb 29 '12 at 18:01
