Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I would like to get an email alert when new questions appear which have at least two tags that I chose. If a subscribe to a single tag only, I get way to much questions that are not interesting to me.

Another way to achieve this would be the notification upon new search results.

Is that possible?

So, in a nutshell, you are looking to get notifications on custom searches? (or along those lines) – cdeszaq Mar 15 '12 at 19:19

yes, that sums it up – user1251007 Mar 15 '12 at 20:54

Thanks for your comment Cody Gray. http://stackexchange.com/filters/ helps with email alerts, however, combining tags is not supported. RSS would be a possibility to combined tags, but is not convenient as email for me. – user1251007 Mar 16 '12 at 12:04
