Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The FAQ on CW posts states one reason for a post to automatically become CW:

The question generates more than 30 answers (15 on Super User). In this case, the question and all answers will enter community mode, as will any future answers.

Now, this SU question has 20 answers already.

Easiest way to find out if user has either Windows 7 or Vista (through telephone support)?

Shouldn't it be CW, or is the FAQ wrong?

Hmmm, that may not necessarily be accurate. They might have changed it back. After all, Jeff's original post said "for now" and this question says it applies to Programmers too. – animuson Mar 18 '12 at 17:04
