What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 131 Stack Exchange communities.

When using Firefox 11.0 on Kubuntu 11.04, and clicking on the comment link on a question, nothing happens. In Firebug, I see this error:

missing ) after argument list
Line 65

I don't have another computer handy to test it elsewhere, but JavaScript is enabled and most websites seem to be working OK. Any ideas?

This is a new computer, so it may be the first time I've tried to add a comment using this computer.

Hmmm...it seemed to be every comment link on any question, but now today it works fine on this comment. It was, at the time, also not working on up/down votes, on multiple questions. But, as this comment proves, it appears to have disappeared. Never mind. –  rossdavidh Mar 20 '12 at 14:32
Surely the developers would have known if things were different, but note that here on Meta, full.js is fetched from meta.stackoverflow.com/content/js/full.js, not from cdn.sstatic.net/js/full.js The content seems to be the same though, but things working on one site does not necessarily mean things would work on another site too. But again: right now things seems to be the same. –  Arjan Mar 20 '12 at 22:44
I can confirm such behaviour for different SE-sites from time to time. (FF 12.0 on Xubuntu 10.04). –  user unknown Jun 7 '12 at 9:44
