So, I'm using chat, and this happens:

Time Warp!

It is in fact 10:00 PM local time, and as new messages are posted in chat, the "X seconds later..." messages continue to place themselves between messages as the "The last message was posted 4 hours ago." message keeps relocating to the bottom of the chat.

Not Stopping!

Am I living in some kind of time vortex, or is this a bug? It doesn't seem to be happening to anyone else in chat.

Safari 5.1.4 under Mac OS 10.7.3 if that matters.

Based on what you wrote, it's my conclusion, that you're indeed living inside a time vortex. Good luck! –  jmfsg Mar 21 '12 at 2:37

A couple of people have seen the "n seconds later" messages popping up recently; the "4 hours ago" part is new as far as I know –  Michael Mrozek Mar 21 '12 at 4:30

Two things: Do you always see that, or does it disappear when you refresh? And did you happen to look at that "one error in the page"? –  balpha Mar 21 '12 at 6:04

Chat has been acting wierd recently. It decided to post a message under my username, and then felt that the post was too offensive, and (removed) it. If I tried to post anything, it would get eaten by the system. On refresh it was back to normal, no removed post, and all my subsequent posts were visible. Could not duplicate, so I'm not posting a bug. –  Manishearth Mar 21 '12 at 10:21
