Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I know tag-edits do not count towards the 500 edits required for the Copy Editor badge. Do they count to the 100 for the Archaeologist badge? It seems they should because you are making a 6-month-inactive post active again.

I'm inclined to guess that they don't, but I agree that it would make the most sense if they did. – Matthew Read Mar 23 '12 at 4:03
@shawizdoward Thanks for trying. Don't know why it's so hard to provide an official answer on this. – Double AA Jul 9 '13 at 6:48

So after 400 tag edits on 6-month-inactive questions you did not get the badge? – Double AA Mar 23 '12 at 16:48
I din't edited body of Q&A (question and answer), only modified tags – mKorbel Mar 23 '12 at 17:08
