Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I've just found the tag. I suspect it has been created when people try to enter things like as "catch all" rather than "catch-all".

We can't just delete this tag, but need people to go though the questions retagging as appropriate.

Apologies for the +1, I know you don't want any more rep ;) – Lix Apr 18 '12 at 8:29
@Lix - Touché. I suspend that rule when asking questions. It's only fair people have the opportunity to take rep off me when I'm asking questions. – ChrisF Apr 18 '12 at 8:32
42.5K minus 2... "fair"? ;) – Lix Apr 18 '12 at 8:35

This tag definitely can't stand on it's own. I've added it to

If it is indeed then the question should be retagged as such (with the removed).

This tag has been removed from the system.

@AdamRackis PROFESSOR?!?! Oh no. Do not make me do this – casperOne Apr 18 '12 at 17:12
Oh, now that's just awesome. – Adam Rackis Apr 18 '12 at 17:29
Causing more trouble, eh :)… – Adam Rackis Apr 18 '12 at 21:14
@AdamRackis Indeed. Some people apparently is all wound up because their rep-whoring one-liner was axed. Oh well, the world still turns... – casperOne Apr 18 '12 at 21:16
@AdamRackis Hey, have you seen this. Look at all that self-generating meta rep =) – casperOne Apr 30 '12 at 0:58
