Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The newly launched Chemistry.SE (currently in private beta) would greatly benefit from having MathJax's mhchem extension enabled. I believe it's very straightforward, as it's part of the standard MathJax 2.0, which SE uses. It only requires site-wide activation.

I love shiny links. – jadarnel27 Apr 26 '12 at 16:30
I dunno if this is on-topic here, though. You can get attention, but this is site-specific and ought to stay there. The SE team mopes around private betas anyway, so they'll see it soon enough. Otherwise, the pro-tems will bring it to the attention of SE. I'm voting to close, even though I sorely want to see this implemented. :( – Manishearth Apr 26 '12 at 16:30
The appropriate place for this request is on meta.chemistry. Since there is already a post there, I'm just closing this instead of migrating. – Rebecca Chernoff Apr 26 '12 at 16:31
