What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 130 Stack Exchange communities.

And in particular, what about the meta SEs for SEs that are about to be closed, like the meta for the Astronomy SE?

Yes, per-site meta are included with their respective parent sites. Are you having a problem locating them, or is this just a general interest question? –  Cody Gray May 3 '12 at 3:36
@The Beta sites are not archived, Meta or main, Astronomy is a bit special as it's one of the six betas that will be closed in a couple of days. –  Yannis May 3 '12 at 3:45
They used to be... Has this changed? @yah Ah, never mind. You said beta sites. –  Cody Gray May 3 '12 at 3:46
@The Ah, you can find closed betas dumps on their Area51 page, had no idea. They are just not part of the usual public data dumps‌. Guess this makes sense, betas will either get into the public dumps when they graduate, or have an A51 dump if they get closed. –  Yannis May 3 '12 at 3:50
