Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I've just seen Manishearth's question asking for completed re-tag requests on Meta to be closed.

I think it would be useful if uncompleted re-tag requests (327) and synonym requests (94) could either be completed or declined!

Obviously some will have already been done, maybe as part of (shameless plug).

Marking these completed requests as or may be more useful than cleaning up those requests that already have them.

Yeah, what the heck are the moderators doing??! Why do they spend all their time deleting questions, instead of fulfilling these retag requests? – Cody Gray May 5 '12 at 10:35
I know! Taken slightly out of context any statement can appear to be rude! Or, imply that moderators are lazy in this case. Mine and yours :-). I'm just seeing if there's an appetite to clean-up some requests rather than cleaning up some completed ones. – ben is uǝq backwards May 5 '12 at 10:36
@TheEstablishment: Lets all flag those questions for mod attention till they listen! ;-) – Manishearth May 5 '12 at 10:52
That's actually quite a good idea... do you think it would work :-)? – ben is uǝq backwards May 5 '12 at 11:06
@Ben: It could_ work, but your flag weight may plummet due to aaaangry mods. ;-) If this meta post doesn't work, I guess we can do that... (or bounties) – Manishearth May 5 '12 at 11:08
I miss flag weight... – chown May 5 '12 at 13:43
