We have a master redirect tag, but that's probably too vague. Perhaps these should be synonymized into something like asp.net-redirection, a la asp.net-routing? –  Cody Gray May 10 '12 at 11:48

I think that the better thing to do would be to retag those questions to , as it covers the general concept. Also, the current should be merged into in order to create a fairly solid tag and wiki.

This can be done manually, and I've added it to http://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/128315/the-great-stack-overflow-tag-question-cleanup-of-2012

Awesome. Thanks. –  Bryan Dunsmore May 10 '12 at 11:48
redirecttoaction and redirecttoroute are methods used extensively in ASP.NET MVC, and serve to categorize questions in those areas very well. This particular user seems to have a disdain for such tags, but I personally don't see a problem with them. You're going to make us ASP.NET MVC developers very unhappy if we are suddenly unable to find these subsets of questions. –  Robert Harvey May 10 '12 at 21:52
