What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I have accidentally removed my email address from my profile. When i have tried to recover it my points and badges are automatically reset. Is there any way to recover my reputation and badges?

If you happen to remember your previous user ID (your current ID on Stack Overflow is 1397766) then email the team with both and ask for a merge. – Shadow Wizard May 16 '12 at 6:57

How exactly did you remove the email? Can you explain what you did step by step? – Shadow Wizard May 16 '12 at 8:07

If you can't remember your previous user ID, you can still use @ShaDowWizArd's suggestion by searching for a question or answer you had posted, and getting your previous user ID from there. – yoozer8 May 16 '12 at 13:14

I have accidentally removed my email address from my profile. when i have tried to recover it my points and badges are automatically reset.

That email address is used for delivering newsletters & fetch your gravatar, it isn't used to tie your account.

My guess is you tried to login with a different email which resulted in a new account being created for you. Try to recall one of your questions/answers, and then flag for moderator attention to have the accounts merged

It seems that you have created another account by using new credentials(email id/open id). So, if you try to login with the previous credentials/open id, you will get to see your points/badges earned by you.
