Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I asked a question on SO - How to correctly iterate application settings in C# using reflection. I used to be able to comment on answers but I cannot do so any longer. The Add Comment link is grayed out and doesn't work. I dont understand why I can't add comments anymore.

Strange. I could add a comment just fine. (Since removed) What browser are you using? – Bart May 19 '12 at 11:20

Do you have any browser extension that would cause any issue? When users cannot comment, Stack Exchange doesn't show the link to add a comment; it doesn't gray it out. – kiamlaluno May 19 '12 at 17:45

I am unable to add a comment using Google Chrome. I do not have any extensions enabled. I am definitely logged in as busyspin via Google OpenID. I have no problem adding a comment with Internet Explorer 9. – busyspin May 20 '12 at 3:41
