Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I recently signed up for careers.stackoverflow.com and it linked to my work github.com account and not my personal one. Problem is that I can't relink it back to my personal github.com account.

I don't have any open source stuff with my work github.com account so careers.stackoverflow.com's linking to it serves no point. Can I be unlinked?

Sure, though I don’t know which is yours. Send a note to matt@stackoverflow.com with a link to your profile. Thanks! – Matt Sherman May 22 '12 at 14:21
