Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I have a question about a Qt4 API usage. I cannot post a short proof of concept with the message because it requires multiple files and I think it would take too much time to Stackoverflow users to rebuild the project.

What is the best way to give SO users an easy access to my whole project ?

Can your API usage question be summarized in 30 words or less? – Makoto Jun 4 '12 at 16:13
Yes, it can be summarized in 30 words. – alecail Jun 4 '12 at 16:16
My feeling is, if your question of a specific API usage can be summarized in 30 words, then you don't have to post the entire project. In fact, if you can get your question to be broad enough that it won't be specific to your exact issue, then that would be much more ideal. – Makoto Jun 4 '12 at 16:19
