Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I am looking at my chat profile and see that it misrepresents my reputation, as my "parent user" has about 600-700rep. This total should ignore sites with less that 200 rep to avoid skewing these measurements with easy association bonuses.

Yes it is the total for all. – Siddharth Rout Jun 19 '12 at 12:15
But wouldn't that inflate users' rep with the assoc bonus? It would be fairer to remove the assoc bonus in the calculation. – hexafraction Jun 19 '12 at 12:17
So you want it to be the same as in your global flair? If so please explain this in the question and remove the bug tag leaving it as feature request. – Shadow Wizard Jun 19 '12 at 12:20
The global flair ignores sites with < 200 rep. The chat total includes all sites. This will explain the difference. – ChrisF Jun 19 '12 at 12:31
