It seemed to me that a large majority of the questions really are about IBM products in the WebSphere family or IBM sponsored development (Eclipse). We have a similar problem in the assembler/assembly tag, where I often retag stray posts to .net-assembly. – Bo Persson Jul 6 '12 at 17:18

Perhaps splitting into (synonym ) + (synonym /)? But then, I don't really know how to ensure newer/less observant users don't use the tag once that's been fixed.
