Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Use case: this evening I go outside and haven't finished reading some of SO questions I started some time before. I will spend some time on my way and will have my mobile, but I can't get all the questions opened on my desktop quickly reopened on smartphone: I have to retype "short" URIs.

What if to add a barcode which I could read via mobile and open in a browser?

We should get some QR codes as well. Hell, QR codes are the new barcodes. – BoltClock's a Unicorn Jul 27 '12 at 17:31
I actually "abuse" favorites for that exact purpose – Bart Jul 27 '12 at 17:32
And I thought it's getting harder everyday to find a browser that does not want to sync desktop and mobile sessions for me... (Hint: Chrome to the rescue?) – Arjan Jul 27 '12 at 17:46
Just found a proposal as QR code. So this question could be considered as duplicate of‌-codes-for-questions. – Artem Oboturov Jul 27 '12 at 22:39
I like browser synch... what about that? – Crowie Jan 3 '14 at 2:01
