Why don't Stack Exchange sites use HTML <meta> tags?
While scanning the HTML of a page on Arqade I noticed the
meta tag is not being used for keywords.
As far as I understand things search engines can use these meta keywords to further evaluate the relevancy of a page's contents for a given topic.
Would it make sense, then, to use the tags in a question as meta keywords for a given page? So if I have a question on stackoverflow with the
compiler tags, one might see the following in the HTML:
<meta name='keywords' content='c++,compiler'>
Would such a change improve search engine relevancy for SE content?
