Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

So I have been faithfully reviewing away on History SE. I came to the last one and reviewed it. The system then gave me this screen:

enter image description here

It says There are no items for you to review. It then goes on to give the guidelines for reviewing.

I closed the tab and then reopened it via the main review page. I then received the correct screen as shown here:

Obviously, you need to click one of those buttons! ;-) – Gaffi Aug 14 '12 at 21:00
LOL... but there are no shiny orange buttons! – American Luke Aug 14 '12 at 21:01
Then, as the note says, "You can also leave a comment on the answer..." – Gaffi Aug 14 '12 at 21:04
Still no shiny orange buttons... :( – American Luke Aug 14 '12 at 21:05
@Gaffi careful, if you click reccomend delete when there isn't a post to review it will delete all of stackexchange! – Rory Aug 14 '12 at 22:24
@Rory - effectively sending the internet into a spiralling black hole, dragging us with it – Robotnik Aug 14 '12 at 23:07
Has anyone been able to reproduce this? – American Luke Aug 15 '12 at 14:43
@Luke I just reproduced it locally; it'll be fixed after our next deploy (sometime today). – Emmett Aug 15 '12 at 15:36

Good catch – this case was broken after a recent javascript refactoring. It's fixed now.
