Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

This user just made many tag editions, describing such tags as , , , and so on.

Does that really make sense?

Do we want wiki documented tags for every dictionary words?

Most of his edits are lifted whole-sale from Wikipedia.. – Martijn Pieters Aug 23 '12 at 12:35

There's quite a bit of plagiarism in those wiki inserts; I rejected a few of those edits myself on the basis of plagiarism.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. In the future, please bring it to our attention with a flag on the user's post if you see a user is plagiarizing content from other sites. Choose flag reason 'other', and explain that the user is plagiarizing content.

I also saw a lot of non specific edits, like the addition of a link to to some nokia related tags – Denys Séguret Aug 23 '12 at 11:43
I was rejecting a few too; any way we can clean up the mess. – Martijn Pieters Aug 23 '12 at 12:35
This user is still overloading the edit review system with editions directly copied from wikipedia (the last I saw is "aliasing", which wasn't even correct for to the usage of this tag in SO). Can something be done ? – Denys Séguret Aug 23 '12 at 19:38
