Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

On Stack Overflow I see many comments like "+1", "great answer", and "yeah man!". What is the best way to flag them?

They really aren't constructive responses, almost verging on spam, couldn't they just be flagged as that if you get a lot of comments like it. (And it's taking all of my restraint not to sarcastically post +1) – CBredlow Aug 24 '12 at 16:40

@CBredlow: Don't flag them as spam, spam comments are handled differently and might throw of future hueristics to auto-detect spam. – Martijn Pieters Aug 24 '12 at 16:41

I'd expect that "Not Constructive" would be good, too, because they're...not constructive. – Al E. Aug 24 '12 at 16:42

@Valet Tree: That too, but I guess "chatty" gets the point across; "not constructive" on the other hand sounds rather abstract to me. Either one works, though. – BoltClock's a Unicorn Aug 24 '12 at 16:43

So when would you use "Not constructive" and when "Too Chatty"? – Mr Lister Aug 24 '12 at 17:17

@MrLister: Why do you need to know that? <-- Not constructive. – Robert Harvey Aug 24 '12 at 18:06
