Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

There is difference in the reputation on Stack Overflow in the site header and below the profile image. Is that a bug?

No it's not a bug. The reputation number at the top of the page gets live-updates. But the reputation number under your gravatar does not.

When you loaded the page, you had 1620 rep. Then your reputation increased to 1628. The live-updates will update the number at the top, but not the number under your gravatar.

i have reloaded the page but there is no change in reputation ....i know that if user undo his action (reputation) there will be no change but there is nothing change regarding to the reputation under the reputation graph – NullPoiиteя Sep 7 '12 at 7:16
When you reload it, the numbers should match. It should have nothing to do with what's in your reputation tab. – Mysticial Sep 7 '12 at 7:22
