Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

When an answer is unaccepted and then re-accepted again within a short period of time, there is no visible record of it (and I think this is the right thing to do). However, it looks like a vote in the middle prevents the unaccept and re-accept from cancelling each other. It would be nice to cancel the two events visually even with a vote in the middle.

Unaccept/Accept pair

This also happens with unupvote/upvote events. But if they were merged, it would cause a discrepancy in the page on when the event actually occurred. – Mysticial Oct 4 '12 at 15:13
