Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Am I the only one that keeps seeing the "an edit has been made to this post; click to load" over and over without any changes to the answer?

This happens to an answer on all questions when I stay on the page a few minutes - last time I observed it was

http://stackoverflow.com/a/13799833/295783

which does not even seem to have been edited.

So I click on a question, see an answer appear, see the "an edit appear" maybe every 2 minutes

Chrome on Win7

Do you mean in the edit interface? A screenshot would make the problem easier to identify. – Asad Saeeduddin Dec 10 '12 at 11:24

You got downvoted because you didn't give any details. (Not my downvote) – Shadow Wizard Dec 10 '12 at 11:24

Within the grace period (5 minutes) edits are not "recorded" so you won't see it in the revisions list. However Nick did some fixing around in the last build maybe something has been broken. – Shadow Wizard Dec 10 '12 at 11:26

Sure - just wanted to report it. – mplungjan Dec 10 '12 at 11:27
