Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Searching for C# or C++ always redirect to C jobs.

as a side question: how can I access tag search from the frontend? – Karoly Horvath Sep 27 '13 at 16:48
also, why do I get non-matching items? – Karoly Horvath Sep 27 '13 at 16:50
@yi_H there's no exact match for "D", i.e. no active job listing has been tagged with just "D" (unlike "C"). So what you see is the next best type of match, tags with the letter "D" in it. Like "proDuct-management". Should anyone post a job listing with the tag "D", it'll show up on top of that list. – Max Sep 30 '13 at 15:10
I understand that you describe this as a feture, but FYI, as a user (who is seeking for a job) I see this as a bug. Also, if I visit, I see objective-c, c# (mixed, not on the bottom of the list!) and other things I'm not even remotely interested in. Again, you can call this "as-designed", but i doubt that's what the users expect/want. Let me know whether it makes sense to open a new question for this. – Karoly Horvath Sep 30 '13 at 16:45
