What kind of answer are you expecting from the bounty? There was only one (not closed and locked) question with it anyway so how does this warrant a "detailed canonical answer"? –  Martin Smith Dec 24 '13 at 14:31

Here is the list of questions using the that are not closed, for any reason including not constructive. Note that this search shows you a larger list because locked questions don't show in the regular tag search.

Hidden Features Search

That tag wiki isn't a good one and I have updated it.

The text I gave for the excerpt:

is a tag for questions that involved hidden features in a programming languages/environments/tools. Use only for SPECIFIC questions, list questions of hidden features are no longer allowed.

You can also do "locked:no" We have a whopping one unclosed unlocked question with the tag. It really shouldn't have it, but I'm leaving it alone for demonstration purposes. –  Charles Jan 29 '13 at 1:24

Am I the only one that only sees one question tagged with that ? –  ʞunɥdɐpɐɥd Dec 24 '13 at 13:35

@insertcleverxmasname: I don't see any. –  Ilmari Karonen Dec 24 '13 at 14:02

I don't really see the point of the tag. Looking at it the first type of question that comes to mind is "Hidden features of X?", which is a list question and thus closeable.

I can't think of any programming question where the hiddenness of a feature has an effect on the question. I can't see why people would want to search for questions about hidden features, for a similar reason.

I detagged the last question with the tag, it should be gone by tomorrow.

Well actually there are nine other questions but you won't be able to do anything about them as they are all locked. –  Martin Smith Dec 24 '13 at 14:16

@mart we probably can get them edited by mods –  Manishearth Dec 24 '13 at 15:14
