Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

If I want to sort a user's questions by newest, and then click on a question, and then go back to the user's page, SO resorts by votes instead of newest. It seems like it doesn't remember my sorting here, even though it does everywhere else. This is a bit of pain, and it'd be nice if it was more consistant.

Side effect of ajax in place (no postback) sorts.

There are some solutions (e.g. appending the current sort order to the URL) though. I don't think it's worth the time it takes to implement. – xmm0 Aug 23 '09 at 0:42
