Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Well, this is the question and this is the user, and this is his earlier question.

Well the first question got closed, with a score of +2 (4 upvotes and 2 downvotes). I was very surprised when, I tried to vote to close (and downvote) the second question the upvotes were flying in.

Both question should be closed IMHO. Self promoting?

If you think this is suspicious (and I can't disagree there) just flag it for moderator attention and add a little explanation. – Bart Feb 1 '13 at 10:32
Oh.. Okay.. will do.. Done.. – Krishnabhadra Feb 1 '13 at 10:32
The question is closed now and has downvotes more than upvotes. Its realy suspicious. there is a chance that the same user has multiple accounts or he has a team of users, anyway we cant guess anything. Appreciate your detective skills – MicRO Feb 1 '13 at 10:42
Nothing detective there.. When I started to write that comment below the question the vote score was 3, when I finished it was 6. I thought I could type faster than that.. Seriously, it really looked fishy. – Krishnabhadra Feb 1 '13 at 10:45
Hey man, I too was there to see those changes at that time, its really suspicious, i agree. And I was the 2nd one to vote on your comment, – MicRO Feb 1 '13 at 10:53
@MilKyWaY oops you misunderstood my comment. I only said it was very easily noticeable from the way the vote count going up, that something fishy was happening.. And I don't consider nothing bad about your detective comment.. :) So stopping this.. My bad english..:) – Krishnabhadra Feb 1 '13 at 10:59
