Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I've tried removing the XHTML tag and the _L signature in this post.

After clicking Save Edits, all seems fine until I check my activity box under my profile and notice my suggested edit is inexistent.

After hitting Back on the browser a few times until I land on the editing URL of that question, I receive a "Page not found" error.

Is this a bug?

Did you force a reload? With the datacenter switch, perhaps some crucial JS resource didn't load in your browser. – Martijn Pieters Feb 9 '13 at 21:25
Can you try proposing another change to the question? As a user with full edit privs, I was able to make the changes you wanted without a problem. (I've then rolled back the edit so we can keep poking at it.) – Charles Feb 9 '13 at 21:43
"This site is currently in read-only mode". Probably glitches due to the migration. – Mechanical snail Feb 9 '13 at 23:22
@Mechanicalsnail Hadn't noticed this message, that probably explains it. Thanks – caiosm1005 Feb 10 '13 at 2:06
