Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I found a bunch of Android applications for Stack Exchange websites like Stack Anywhere, Stack Remote etc. But all of them just support only read access. None of them has a provision to login and write.

Is there any Android app with write access and login possible? If no, is it because of the restriction of the API exposed or is it because nobody created any?

I dont know of one yet, and I believe it was a restriction in the API. However, I have heard that the API has been going through some updates and that may be changing. All this was via some chats here on meta so I cant really confirm it. – Josh Mein Feb 28 '13 at 2:57

Thats is a great news if the API is changing. It is pain to access the web each time we need to answer something. Instead we can just answer from the app. – RinoTom Feb 28 '13 at 2:59
