I've created a simple windows taskbar application that checks a user's reputation on SO. The input is the user's url (http://stackoverflow.com/users/...) and notifies the user of changes in his reputation. Currently the tool only tracks reputation changes but I plan on adding additional notifications in the next versions.

Update: a new version is available (1.3) with proxy support - go get it now

are you still supporting this? Just tried it without success. –  Kate Gregory Jun 17 '11 at 11:15

Unfortunately I didn't have time to properly work on this project. I was hoping to use the SO API for a new version and never got to it. If enough people demand it I'll revive the project... –  Dror Helper Jun 19 '11 at 9:02

+1 on the demand here :D –  Connell Watkins Nov 9 '11 at 12:40

Oh great, now I have no way to avoid feeding my Stack Overflow addiction! Even when the browser is closed I'm still gaining rep. Thanks for nothing ;)

It would be nice if we could also use Super User and Server Fault user pages instead of just Stack Overflow.

I will, I also need to fix the current functionality as well. Hopefully I'll have something working next week –  Dror Helper Aug 25 '09 at 7:35

Doesn't accept my URL. I'm behind a proxy, maybe that's the cause. Would be great, if there were proxy settings.
