What is meta? ×
Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 127 Stack Exchange communities.

The tag has no tag wiki, and at to me, at a glance, does not seem to be one tag, but rather a collection of questions which mention at some point.

What is the proper usage of the tag? What does mean?

A quick glance at the 86 questions leads to the conclusion that this def has too many definitions. –  Toon Krijthe Mar 4 '13 at 8:27

Well, def in Python defines a method... it seems kinda pointless for Python questions. –  ben is uǝq backwards Mar 4 '13 at 8:30

@benisuǝqbackwards It'd be like having a method tag when talking about other OOP oriented questions... oh wait! ;) (but yes, I agree, it seems pointless) –  J. Steen Mar 4 '13 at 8:33
